I love work that stretches the browser to its limits.
Allow me to begin this post by saying: I am really not a political person. As a topic of conversation, politics make me extremely uncomfortable. I don’t watch Keith Olbermann or Bill O’Reilly, I don’t listen to talk radio, and I did not canvas for a candidate during last year’s election. (I did vote.)
That being said, the last 48 hours have seen a tectonic shift in the way...

I may have bought a tweed jacket at Goodwill today just so that I could dress up as Q.
I also may have bought a bottle of baby powder to artificially gray my hair.
It might be kind of fantastic.

I’m working on my first Tumblr theme for general release, and I’m generally quite happy with it, but there’s one thing that continues to bug me: Tumblr preview refuses to let me run any Javascript. It’s probably just an iframe issue, but it’s definitely a thorn in my side, given that a core tenet of the design is real-time adaptation to the browser window.
Anyway!...
So: I did not get my shit together in time for Hourly Comics this month, in the style of the wonderful John Campbell and Max Karl Key. Sad face. I’m thinking I may do it for February, though — picking up where others leave off. I think it would be fantastic if we could manage to string twelve hourly-comicists together, each one taking the helm for one month of the year, piecing...
